Delete your account
You can delete your hold. account at any time, from the app or right here. Deletion starts with a 30 day grace period. If you change your mind during those 30 days, log in to the app and cancel, and everything stays as it was. Once the grace period ends, your sign-in is gone for good.
From the app
- Tap your avatar to open your profile
- Under Account, choose Delete account
- Confirm. Your account is scheduled for deletion in 30 days and you are signed out.
To cancel, log in any time before the date and tap Cancel deletion.

If you can't access the app, enter the address on your hold. account and we'll send you a link to confirm.
Confirm account deletion
Confirming schedules your account for permanent deletion after a 30 day grace period. Nothing is removed until that period is over.
Your account is scheduled for deletion
You can cancel any time before that date by logging in to the app.
Deleting your account does not cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel that in the store itself.

This confirmation link is invalid or has expired. Links are valid for 24 hours, so you may need a fresh one.
What gets deleted after 30 days
- Your sign-in: your password and any linked Google or Apple account
- Your name, email address, and profile photo
- Your place in a household. Anything you shared becomes private again for your partner.
Active subscriptions must be canceled separately through the App Store or Google Play. Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription.
